At AltarSeed, we create with the turning seasons, offering handcrafted beauty, meaningful gatherings, and invitations to pause.
As autumn’s abundance gives way to winter’s stillness, our attention turns toward reflection, nourishment, and the quiet beginnings taking root beneath the surface.
With materials grown, gathered, and tended by hand, our offerings become markers of passage - honoring where we have been, where we are, and who we are becoming.
The Magdalene Wheel: A Rhythm of Becoming
The Heartbeat of This Journey is Beautifully Simple
Release → Receive → Awaken → Tend → Embody → Radiate → Offer → Harvest
Notice that none of these movements require striving. They describe what life naturally does when we remain in relationship with it.
This feels profoundly like Mary Magdalene. She does not chase transformation.
She notices it.
She receives it.
She embodies it.
She offers what has been entrusted to her.
She bears witness.
This is not a program of self-improvement.
It is a rhythm of becoming.
An Invitation
Wherever you find yourself along the Wheel, you are welcome here.
You don't have to begin at the beginning. Nature is always beginning again. Simply enter the conversation where the season finds you.
Together we'll notice what is unfolding in the world around us...
...and perhaps discover what is quietly unfolding within us as well.

In the Wild
We love our Stillwater, Oklahoma community and are always looking for opportunities to meet our neighbors. We have most recently enjoyed participating in Halfway to St. Patty’s Day and several pumpkin decorating workshops, the most recent at Stonecloud Brewing Co. We will post event pictures soon as well as a list of our upcoming events. Stay tuned - exciting things are coming your way!

Meet the Artist
I'm Kelly Jones (aka KJ), the creator behind AltarSeed.
For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the ways nature mirrors our own lives. Seeds rest before they sprout. Trees release what no longer serves them. Gardens require both patience and trust. Again and again, the natural world reminds us that becoming is a process.
That understanding sits at the heart of my work.
Through wreaths, flower crowns, seasonal workshops, journals, creative kits, and community gatherings, I explore the beauty found in life's thresholds - the moments when something is ending, beginning, or quietly transforming beneath the surface.
Many of the materials used in my work are grown, gathered, or foraged from my yard or close to home, carrying with them the stories of changing seasons and the places from which they came. Each piece is created slowly and intentionally, with an appreciation for both the beauty of the finished work and the journey that shaped it.
AltarSeed is more than a creative studio. It is an invitation to pause, notice, create, and reconnect with the wisdom that has always been available to us through the natural world.
I'm honored you're here.
